Correctional Behavior Specialist II

Essential job functions include but are not limited to: administering and scoring tests for inmates admitted to diagnostic centers for initial processing, acting as a liaison between diagnostic center staff and mental health section, coordination of psychiatric clinics, supportive counseling of inmates, collecting behavioral observations on assigned inmates. Good oral and written skills are needed to convey test instructions and complete reports. Ability to answer questions about testing and clinically document subject's behavior are vital.

Education and Experience: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in psychology. Coursework should include general psychology, statistics, abnormal personality and developmental psychology, and tests and measurements.
