DOC Administrative Offices Moving to New Building

A number of Department of Correction administrative offices will soon be under one roof on Yonkers Road, just off Capitol Boulevard in Raleigh.

Twelve correction offices that have been in the Randall Building, state-owned facilities or leased space in Raleigh will move into a 150,000 square foot building at 2020 Yonkers Road.

"The consolidation undertaking is a challenge and has taken extended efforts by many. Interoffice communication will now be at arms-reach and efficiency in day-to-day transactions among all divisions located at the complex will surely be enhanced," said Bonnie Jones, DOC Property Agent.

The Division of Adult Probation and Parole administration, Correction Enterprises, Combined Records, Research and Planning, Management Information Systems, Departmental Purchasing and Services, Accounting, Central Engineering, Extradition, the DOC Mailroom and the Parole Commission will move into the Yonkers Road building.
