| Raleigh - Correction Secretary Mack Jarvis welcomes Christy Hardee in her new role as public information officer for DOC. Hardee joined the Public Information staff on Jan. 12. A native of Greenville, North Carolina, Hardee worked as a newspaper reporter for the Hickory Daily Record for two years before moving to Raleigh to pursue a career as a litigation paralegal for the law firm of Poyner & Spruill. She has a B.A. degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
