FRANKLIN FREEMAN’S SON IMPROVING

Former Correction Secretary Franklin Freemean and his wife, Lynn, are rejoicing over the fast progress their 15-year-old son, Edward, has made following a car crash Jan. 2 that left him in a coma for approximately three weeks.

Edward is talking with family and friends, has a good appetite and even made a short visit home Feb. 15.

Edward will remain in the WakeMed rehab center until May. The doctors are encouraged by his rapid progress.
