Nominations Are Being Accepted for Award

Nominations are now being accepted for the Governor’s Award for Excellence. The program was created to acknowledge and express appreciation for outstanding accomplishments and extraordinary performance by state employees.

The categories are Outstanding State Government Service, Innovations, Public Service, Safety and Heroism, and Human Relations.

Nomination forms should be submitted no later than June 1 to Fran Stallings, DOC Administration, Shore Building, P.O. Box 29540, Raleigh, NC 27626-0540.

An awards ceremony will be held in October during Excellence in State Government Week. u
