BRYSON CITY — The
Tuskasegee River runs right past the office windows of
probation unit manager Tom Lance (left) and probation
officer Glenn Weeks (right). Lance manages three counties, Swain, Macon and Jackson. Weeks, a former correctional officer at Craggy Correctional Center, was happy to return to his native Bryson City as a probation officer. When asked if he had any unusual cases, Weeks said all 180 of his cases are unusual. u |
