Health Insurance Coverage Reminder
Blue Cross Blue Shield Personal Care Plan (PCP) withdrew from many counties across the state during the last open enrollment. Apparently many employees did not check the changes in the last open enrollment issue of It’s Your Choice.
Please check your service area and if you have PCP coverage and it is no longer offered in the county where you work or live, contact Kathie Lefler, DOC Payroll immediately at 919-716-3300. Each claim is being considered individually and service may not be covered retroactively.
Selling, buying or refinancing your home?
Hyatt Legal Plans, the new legal plan for DOC, includes in their coverage the refinancing of a primary residence in their list of services! This benefit includes the review or preparation, by an attorney representing the participant, of all relevant documents (including the mortgage, deed and documents pertaining to title, insurance, recordation and taxation), which are involved in the sale, purchase or refinancing of a participant’s primary residence. It does not include services provided by any attorney representing a lending institution or title company.
Wake County Based State Employees Wellness Fair
May 13, 1999 at the Jim Graham Building from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Come for fitness analyses, health screenings, therapeutic massage, free samples and safety demonstrations. T-shirts and raffle tickets are available for purchase. DOC is sponsoring two booths this year. Once again OSDT will do the Health Screenings which was very popular last year. Plus, this year the department will also have an informational booth set up during the fair.
