| The North Carolina Division of Motor
Vehicles Honor Guard stood at attention to welcome
families being honored, correction officers and friends
attending the service. They fired the traditional twenty-one gun salute in tribute to the eight officers. |

The Roll Call of Honor was displayed
with the correction star floral arrangement. An eighth
rose was added to the star as part of the service. Correctional Officer Mike Anthony's name was added to the Roll Call of Honor which is displayed in the lobby of Central Prison. |
