Witnesses selected for Sammy Crystal Perkins execution 

RALEIGH- Witnesses have been named for the execution of Sammy Crystal Perkins, who is scheduled to die by lethal injection Oct. 8 at 2 a.m. at Central Prison in Raleigh.  Perkins was convicted and sentenced to death for the 1992 murder of 7-year-old Lashenna “Jo Jo” Moore.
