Witnesses selected for William D. Powell execution

RALEIGH- Witnesses have been named for the execution of William D. Powell, who is scheduled to die by lethal injection March 11 at 2 a.m. at Central Prison in Raleigh.  Powell was convicted in Cleveland County and sentenced to death for the 1991 murder of Mary Gladden.
