Escaped Marion inmate captured

 MARION - Inmate Floyd A. Ramsey, 42, who escaped from Marion Correctional Institution Friday morning was captured without incident Friday at 6:20 p.m. in Avery County.

 The inmate was noticed missing shortly after the 6 a.m. head count.  He escaped the facility by scaling a razor wire fence.
