Search underway for three escaped inmates HOFFMAN - Corrections and law enforcement officers are searching for three inmates who escaped last night from the minimum-security unit at Morrison Correctional Institution in Richmond County. The three inmates were missing at an 11 p.m. count and are believed to have escaped the facility by scaling a razor wire fence. All three were serving sentences for non-violent property crimes or drug crimes. The inmates are: Justin Shepard, 21, serving 8-10 months for larceny and possession of stolen goods (#0801372). Christopher Tadlock, 22, serving approximately 2.5 years for larceny and breaking and entering vehicles (#0803881). Jeffrey Winstead , 21, serving 13-16 months for attempted drug trafficking (#1007574).
