Three escaped inmates captured HOFFMAN - Three inmates who escaped Sunday night from the minimum-security unit at Morrison Correctional Institution were captured today within five miles of the prison. Justin Shepard, Christopher Tadlock and Jeffrey Winstead scaled a fence and left the prison before 11 p.m. Sunday. This morning, a citizen's tip led sheriff's deputies and corrections officers to a home on Millbrook Road in Richmond County where the three escaped inmates had stopped and asked to use the telephone. All three were arrested without incident at approximately 10:45 a.m. # # #
