Straight Baton

This course of instruction is offered to certified Division of Prison employees in the use of a Straight Baton. Specialized instructors will certify employees through the PR-24 Monadnock Training Council to carry and use a baton for defense and control of non-compliant subjects. This course is sixteen (16) hours in length and is conducted during two consecutive days. Participants must complete a proficiency and written exam for certification.
