Department of Correction to honor outstanding employees
RALEIGH
- The N.C. Department of Correction this week will honor 22
employees who have demonstrated outstanding job performance, heroism
or exceptional community service.
Department officials will formally congratulate the workers as
employees of the year at a ceremony scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday,
March 25, in the Martin Building
on the N.C. State Fairgrounds in
Raleigh
Among the 22 employees will be 10 correctional officers, eight
probation/parole officers and six who were nominated by the
department for the Governors Award for Excellence.
