Employees enrolled in WellPath who live in the following counties should have received a letter from the company stating their coverage will terminate as of March 12. The counties are: Franklin, Guilford, Harnett, Iredell, Johnston, Lincoln, Nash, Person, Randolph, Rockingham, Rowan, Stanly and Warren.

State Health Plan administrators recently sent a memorandum to health benefit representatives stating they believed WellPath’s action is in violation of their contract. Administrators want to ensure employees that no member will be without coverage.
