Hurricane Bonnie moved inland around Wilmington, NC where it sat for hours before moving north up the state's coastline. After crossing albemarle Sound, the hurricane picked up steam again and packed a surprising wallop for northeast North Carolina residents.
A crew of Pasquotank Correctional Institution prisoners worked with local government employees to clear hurricane debris on Bell's Island.
