RALEIGH - At the request of Division of Prisons administration, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is conducting interviews today at North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women concerning allegations of inappropriate conduct between certain corrections staff members and inmates.

As of early today, no charges have been filed against any corrections staff. As more details become available, the Public Information staff will provide updates.
