Governor Michael Easley has declared April 17- 30 as Litter Sweep in an effort to encourage all citizens to take an active role in making their communities cleaner and more beautiful. "Litter Sweep is an opportunity for all North Carolinians to work together for a clean and beautiful North Carolina," said Correction Secretary Theodis Beck.
