Search underway
for missing work release inmate
POLKTON -
Correction and law enforcement officers are searching for
minimum-custody inmate Brian Knotts (#0538769).
Knotts is a work-release inmate who
Knotts was
serving a minimum sentence of 12 years and 3 months after being
convicted as a habitual felon, habitual impaired driver and for
driving with a revoked license.
He was due for release in January 2011.
Knotts was
assigned to the minimum-security unit at Brown Creek Correctional
Institution in Polkton.
Anyone who has
seen Knotts or has information on his whereabouts should call local
law enforcement or Brown Creek Correctional Institution at
