Secretary Alvin Keller statement on probation officer Warren Turner

As of July 19, 2010, probation officer Warren Turner has been dismissed from employment at the DOC.

The Department has completed its investigation and review of personnel matters concerning Warren Turner. No information was discovered indicating that Turner engaged in inappropriate speech or conduct of a sexual nature with female offenders.

However, Mr. Turner did not follow directives from his chain of command, which resulted in his dismissal for unacceptable personal conduct.
