DURHAM –
The members of the 100 Men in Black Chorus were feeling pumped up after
a run-through of “Battle Hymn of the Republic.” At the end of the final
note during a rehearsal this week, they offered a spontaneous round of
applause, in part for the Durham Community Concert Band that accompanied
them on this arrangement, and in part because they felt inspired by the
music, and were feeling good about their performance.
