Female inmates at the North Carolina Correctional
Institution for Women in Raleigh work with the state's Tourism Office to
provide helpful tourism information.
The inmates answer calls to the state's toll free tourism phone line. The inmates are trained and receive frequent briefings from tourism officials so they can provide courteous service and answer a wide range of questions. They also receive requests for tourism information. Other inmates prepare information packets filled with helpful brochures about the state's tourism destinations. |
