Of the 11,515 parole entries during the calendar year 1,047 were female.

• Females accounted for 9% of supervision entries.

• The peak age range of female entries was age 30 to 34 years (28.2%).

• Males accounted for 91% of supervision entries.

• The peak age range of male entries was age 20 to 24 (22.5%).

• A larger proportion of males than of females were in the youngest age groups.
