.The Department of Correction Office of Research and Planning provides information, analysis, evaluation studies, and planning support to policy makers and a variety of other recipients. While many of the recipients are Department of Correction staff, other clients include state officials, the General Assembly, and the general public.
Research and Planning helps the Department examine its current operations and look to its future. Our web page is designed to serve our recipients with information which has proven useful in the past, as well as to present updates and new data in a timely manner. Several areas of our page are "under construction", and new and modified information will be presented as it becomes available.
