Food Services Manager George Weichel worked out the kitchen schedule so inmates can work an eight-hour day, 40-hour week rotation schedule, putting more inmates to work. Here, he oversees inmates flipping square hamburgers. A native of Yugoslavia, Melissa Midyette met and married her Hyde County husband nine years ago. She's an outdoors person and loves the openness of Hyde County, the fishing and the hunting. Aretha Campbell pats down and searches inmates before they enter the kitchen for work and as they leave. She must make sure that every utensil stays in the kitchen. "People think we just babysit the inmates, but it's a job," the Scranton native said.
