QUALITY ASSURANCE

As computer software begins to assist and replace human decision makers, a fundamental concern is whether the software system will be able to perform the tasks with the same level of precision as a skilled individual. If not, a catastrophe may occur, caused by an automated system that is less reliable and/or slower than a manual system. Therefore, we must have a means of ensuring that such critical automated systems are acceptably safe and reliable.

Software Quality is the convergence of complete requirements, correct code and minimal defects when aligned to meet business goals. Quality Assurance ensures that the process of creating a software system is sound, meets the needs of our clients and then verifies that it does. Quality begins during project planning and ends when a system is retired. With all of the activities in between, the Quality Assurance help build correctness, reliability, efficiency, security, and usability into our projects. The Quality Assurance team also tests to verify that the process has produced a system that is in accordance with established standards and the client’s requirements. The result is a solution that meets or exceeds our client’s business functionality needs.

Our Quality Assurance team strives to increase quality awareness within MIS and with our clients. We work to be proactive in building a quality system that produces quality results. With an effective Quality Assurance program, user uncertainty and frustration disappear, defects identified and addressed earlier or prevented altogether, and expensive post-release revisions minimized. Effective Quality Assurance saves time, saves money, and empowers our clients to consistently perform at a high level.
