Of the 51,544 entries onto Probation supervision during the fiscal year, 10,760 were female.

• Females accounted for 21% of supervision entries.

• The peak age range of female entries was age 30 to 34 years (19.0%).

During the calendar year there were 40,784 male entries to supervision.

• Males accounted for 79% of supervision entries.

• The peak age range of male entries was below age 20 (19.6%).

• Males account for almost four times as many entries as females.

• Nearly twice as many males under 20 years old were admitted as over age 44.
