2. Population by Crime Type


On June 30, 1996, the parole population totaled 15,455 and consisted of the following Crime Types:

- the largest population in this crime type was Robbery which totaled 856 and accounted for 37% in total violent crimes.

- the largest population in this crime type was Breaking/Entering with a total of 2,676 and accounted for 44% in total property crimes.

- the largest population in this crime type was Non-Trafficking Drugs with a total of 3,950 and accounted for 68% in total public order crimes.
