Of the 49,720 entries onto Probation supervision during the calendar year, 10,063 were female.

• Females accounted for 20% of supervision entries.

• The peak age range of female entries was age 30 to 34 years (19.0%).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Undisplayed GraphicDuring the calendar year there were 39,657 male entries to supervision.

• Males accounted for 80% of supervision entries.

• The peak age range of male entries was below age 20 (15.8%).

• Males account for almost four times as many entries as females.

• Nearly twice as many males under 20 years old were admitted as over age 44.
