Post Release Supervision
Under the Justice Reinvestment Act, all felons convicted of offenses committed on or after Dec. 1, 2011 are subject to a period post-release supervision by a probation officer after release from prison.
Class B1 through E felons receive 12 months of post-release supervision. Class F through I felons receive 9 months of supervision.
Previously, only B1 through E felons received post-release supervision.
